The Committed Impulse Actor Training is a rigorous and enlivening approach to business and acting that increases the actor’s physical vocabulary, creative range, and ability to remain present in each moment.
This revolutionary approach to acting created by actor/director/writer Josh Pais unleashes your ability to bring truth to any material. Committed Impulse frees you from limitations generated by a judging mind and a nervous or blocked body.
Once an initial level of truth and presence is established, actors discover proven tools and exercises to create compelling characters and are shown step-by-step, how to apply them to specific texts.
The key ingredient to Committed Impulse is fun. For some this is the greatest challenge. Monologues and scenes as well as a myriad of exercises are explored in this unique and enlivening approach that brings an unprecedented level of truth and presence to acting and life.
While initially created for professional actors, this class has become a “secret weapon” for leading entrepreneurs, speakers, and other creative professionals around the world. All are welcome.

What if just one Committed Impulse insight allowed you to eliminate the self-doubt and second-guessing that kills your performances and your career satisfaction?
Honestly, that kind of confidence is priceless.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: As Josh is a working actor there is a possibility he may have to miss one or more classes. In the event that this happens a make up class or make up classes will be added and will commence after the last scheduled class of this session. In the event that you cannot attend a make up class – you will be refunded only for that make up class (or classes). If you cannot attend a regularly scheduled class there is no refund.
REFUND POLICY: Please understand there is a high demand for Committed Impulse courses, and we limit class size. Once you have enrolled, your spot in class is secure. You may cancel your enrollment up to 10 days before the start of the course and receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 10 days prior to the commencement of the course, you will NOT receive a refund, but you will get a full credit that you can apply toward another class or workshop within the next 12 months. If, however, you cancel the class within 72 hours of the start of the class – there is no refund or credit.
If for any reason you cannot attend the entire course, there is no refund for missed hours or classes. We STRONGLY suggest that you set your schedule up so that you do not miss a precious moment of this course. Do not be late. We’ll see you very soon!
