Yes! And thank goodness the world is looking for truth right now because I’ve been trying to bullshit my way through life for over 40 years by jumping through hoops to be what I THOUGHT people wanted me to be and I just don’t give a shit anymore. The thing about trying to be perfect is that you just end up being fake, which is the opposite of appealing. Now I’m just me and if that isn’t palatable for some people that’s fine. What’s funny is that the people who kind of liked me when I was fake REALLY like me now. They must have seen the real me and just put up with the fake because the real me resonated with them and now they don’t have to put up with the fakeness!
Yes! So true that when we start to let go of needing others to like us, they end up liking us more 🙂
