3 MONTH COACHING PROGRAM

OUR SHARED AGREEMENTS

Welcome to Committed Impulse Coaching. The following are terms of the coaching relationship laid out here to ensure the most supportive and productive experience.

1.) You have purchased the 3-month Committed Impulse Coaching Program with Josh Pais. This package includes six 1-hour sessions over the next three months. Congrats!

2.) Coaching Packages or Individual Sessions will be billed prior to the first session via PayPal, and payment needs to be received in order to begin our coaching relationship.

3.) Each session is 60 minutes long and takes place by Zoom or phone.
Please note: This hour is your designated time to work with Josh. Please remember that Josh’s professional schedule is regularly in flux, so communication outside of your scheduled session is not part of the coaching program.

4.) Josh will bring himself to those coaching sessions free from distractions and respectfully request that you do the same. He asks that you honor yourself and your work so that you get the most out of this three month period.

5.) You and Josh agree that you will each show up on time at the mutually scheduled time for the coaching session, and if you have to reschedule you will do so with a minimum of 24 hours notice. If a session is cancelled in less than 24 hours, or if you don’t show up for the session, you forfeit that session.

If Josh has to reschedule a session due to filming, he will let you know with as much advance notice as possible.

If you are running late for your session, you must email info@committedimpulse.com before the appointed start time.

Josh will only wait on Zoom for 5 minutes if he does not hear from you; after that, your session will be forfeited.

6.) It is your responsibility to sign up for your coaching sessions when each scheduling email comes in. If you do not sign up for one of the coaching sessions, you will lose the session. If you cannot make any of the times offered in the scheduling email work, reach out to us at info@CommittedImpulse.com and we will do our best to offer you a time that does work.

7.) As part of the 3 Month Coaching Program, it is required that you use your 6 sessions within the three month period. Unused sessions past the three month period will be forfeited. Coaching fees are non-refundable should you decide to opt out of the program.

8.) If you need an additional session (above the six you are booking) within the three month period, contact the CI team at info@committedimpulse.com with your request. We’ll do our best to accommodate the extra session, but it will be dependent on Josh’s schedule.

9.) I will meet my coach at the scheduled time. I have read and agree to the working agreements above, and will honor them during our coaching relationship.

    • I understand that the materials and teachings presented in Committed Impulse are proprietary, copyrighted and cannot be copied, recorded, downloaded, or replicated and are not for resale. Legal steps will be taken if the proprietary material taught in Committed Impulse is replicated, taught, or infringed upon in any way.
    • I agree not to teach others any of the activities or materials conducted or presented at the Committed Impulse Class or workshop I attend, or to copy, record, resell or create other materials of any kind that are derivative of the materials, content, or curriculum presented and/or distributed at the Committed Impulse Class. I also agree not to record any portion of this class by means of audio or video equipment.

  • STATEMENT OF WELLBEING AND WAIVER OF RELEASE

    All coaching services delivered by Josh Pais are meant to challenge, uplift, and support you physically, emotionally, and psychologically. However, coaching is not psychotherapy. If you feel psychologically, emotionally, or physically stressed to the point that it is interfering with your ability to function, please have the courage to seek the help you need in the form of a professional counselor, doctor, or healthcare provider. Committed Impulse coaching may augment your therapy, but the work of coaching is meant to be done when major emotional and psychological wounds are in the process of healing or healed.
    • I am physically, psychologically, and emotionally well. If this changes throughout the course of my coaching relationship to the extent that I am unable to be present with the process for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to inform my coach and we will assess the situation for the best course of action forward.
    • I understand that the Committed Impulse coaching services that I am receiving from Josh Pais are not offered as a substitute for mental health care. I also understand that my coach, Josh Pais, is not acting as a psychologist and does not purport to offer mental health care.
    • I understand that my coach will maintain the confidentiality of our communications only to the extent defined by the laws of the states/ countries in which each of us resides. Information will be shared outside of our sessions only with your written consent or in the event that a Court Judge demands it. Instances in which my coach would be obliged by law to break our confidentiality agreement without my permission include:
      • If it is assessed during my participation in coaching sessions that abuse or neglect of children, elders, or domestic partners is occurring.
      • If I threaten to kill or harm another individual and there is substantial belief on behalf of my coach that I will act on this threat or loose control of my actions.
      • If it is determined that I am a danger to myself, I will be informed of this opinion and every effort will be made to keep me from endangering my life-which may include notifying the police or family members.
    • I understand that all comments and ideas offered by my coach are solely for the purpose of aiding me in achieving my defined goals. I have the ability to give my informed consent, and hereby give such consent to my coach to assist me in achieving such goals.
    • I understand that the materials and teachings presented in Committed Impulse are proprietary, copyrighted and cannot be copied, recorded, downloaded, or replicated and are not for resale. Legal steps will be taken if the proprietary material taught in Committed Impulse is replicated, taught, or infringed upon in any way.

    • I hereby release, waive, acquit, and forever discharge Josh Pais, Josh Pais Inc. and Committed Impulse, their agents, successors, assigns, personal representatives, executors, heirs, and employees from every claim, suit, action, demand, or right to compensation for damages I may claim to have or that I may have arising out of actions, omissions, or commissions taken by myself or by Josh Pais/Committed Impulse/ Josh Pais, Inc. as a result of the advice given or otherwise resulting from the coaching relationship contemplated hereunder. I further declare and represent that no promise, inducement, or agreement not herein expressed has been made to me to enter into this release. The release made pursuant to this paragraph shall bind my heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors, assigns, and agents. I have read the statements above and I understand and agree with the points contained therein:
