I see how I hide.
I see little things I do that make life just that much more complicated.
Those little things bring no satisfaction.
They are just a delay.
They are how I choose to waste my energy.
How much easier it is to accept that I am not here in error.
How much simpler to follow my truth.
A less dramatic path – but full of rich fruit.

I love this post, Josh. Such succinct words, so beautifully crafted. And so absolutely true what you say: ‘How much easier it is to accept that I am not here in error’. Thank you for this.

Thanks for the rich sharing, Josh. It’s funny how we actors often need such help in having less drama in our real lives. Those little things we do–and their accompanying gnawing thoughts of obsession–maybe aren’t so unique after all. And what a relief that is!
