Thoughts and Emotions Don’t Stop Us

Wow.
OK.

During our last workshop in NYC, it became crystal clear that every single person is able to create regardless of what they’re feeling, and regardless of what thoughts are in their head.

Every single person in the course got out of their head, into their bodies, and as a result did absolutely stunning work. Actors, public speakers, prison social workers, business owners, acupuncturists…

People flew in from all over the world: Warsaw, Switzerland, Estonia, England, Philadelphia, Williamsburg…

Ok, check this out…

Before doing CI what stops most of us are thoughts and emotions.

Thoughts like…
“I’m not good enough…”
“I should be further along in my career by now…”
Etc.

Emotions like…
Fear
Anxiety
Nervousness

So, here’s the thing…

Thoughts and emotions don’t stop us, or block our ability to create.

It’s our relationship to, and belief about, them that stop us.

Very quickly…

We’re all immersed in a post-Freudian era.
As a result we are encouraged to analyze or fix our emotions.

But emotions, at their core, are simply energy. Your body is made out of atoms – and emotions are energetic fluctuations. These fluctuations are not good or bad – they are just shifts in vibrational frequencies.

Further, these fluctuations are CREATIVE FUEL!

We gotta Ride these fluctuations – not Hide them!

If we disconnect from our body (the source of creativity), where do we end up – in our head – next thing we know we’re listening to abusive shit.

In the moment of creation, understanding or analyzing what you are feeling will not serve you.

In the moment of creation your job is to create from the badass charge that is in your body.

As we train to stay in our bodies – we learn to give the audience what they want. YOU.
Your truth in THIS moment.

THE PLANET NEEDS YOUR TRUTH RIGHT NOW.
