Y’know, one thing that comes up with some of my coaching clients is the pauper vs prince paradigm.
The neighborhood I grew up in, Alphabet City, was a very impoverished neighborhood. People were living on the edge.
There were many artists, like my mom, who could only (barely) afford to live there.
There was a mentality among these artists that there was a connection between poverty and creativity – and being a real artist.
I absorbed this pauper outlook. After all, I wanted to be a real artist.
I manifested.
I manifested struggle.
I worked a lot. But always for free. Free theatre.
I ate Kraft Macaroni and Cheese out of a box.
“Yo, I’m artistic!”
When I couldn’t stand eating orange #toxic noodles anymore I had to reassess my approach.
As I stepped out of that paradigm something terrible happened.
I started making money as an artist.
The pauper in me finally let go.
This is just one of many countless shifts I have been able to bring to my coaching clients.
I only coach 6 creative actors or entrepreneurs during the Three Month Coaching Program.
There is one spot left for the next session that starts February 23rd.
If there are areas in your business and creative life that you keep getting stuck on – and you are committed to expanding into your next level of mastery – take a look at THIS.
This coaching is not cheap – but it is a bargain compared to what you can achieve.
If you want that last spot – and you are ready to be coached into your potential – I’d be honored to work with you.
The next step is to fill out the application. (see above)
(The application in itself will be self revelatory.)
I know about all the creativity and business traps we can fall into – and I am passionate about supporting creatives out of those traps and into their brilliance.
I got you!
Josh
